Silicon Labs has designed the EFR32BG22 (BG22) Wireless Gecko family of SoCs to meet the unique requirements of high-volume, battery-powered Bluetooth products. With ultra-low transmit and receive power (3.6 mA TX at 0 dBm, 2.6 mA RX) and a high-performance M33 core with low power consumption (27 µA/MHz in active mode, 1.2 µA in sleep mode) - the BG22 provides industry-leading power efficiency that can extend the life of a lozenge battery to more than five years.
